I have a lookalike (but very downmarket ) Denon DVD player similar to that -- it's currently serving as my daily driver transport (with an outboard DAC).... and I've gotta say, it is a good sounding piece of hardware.
This one with SACD and HDCD capability, is a really nice package, I'll bet.

Nah it's a CD player...and a nice one, it just happens to be DVD compatible.

Thanks Travis, the 2910 arrived yesterday safe and sound and I got it in to a system today. Sounds good, will make a nice gift for a sound deficient friend.
