Nice source and sounding CD player. Slow loading but plays CD's great. A couple newer Blu Ray's had trouble loading. Selling as a CD player only. May need a firmware update to play newer Blu Rays or could be a laser- honestly I don't know. Previous owner applied the dynamat to the case.

there is firmware updates for this player it is still supported. I was having trouble on some newer BR's and the firmware fixed it right up.

Same here, had problems with blu-rays. Firmware fixed it.. You can download the firmware on to a cd to make sure it is the latest.HT System

I did update the firmware when I got it two years ago. Have not checked for new updates since. New owner can update after receiving. Better options for playing Blu Rays anyways are plentiful. This is more for a nice sounding CD source playback for those that don't have the budget for an Oppo.
