I have a Carver m400 amp. I don't have enough preamp out jack to accommodate both of my amps and the Polk 10" Sub.
If I use the speaker wire setup from the Carver to the sub will I still be getting the proper amount of power from the 400watt Carver to the main speakers? Thanks

Hello,
Welcome to Polk's forum. The speaker wire connection, to the subwoofer, doesn't diminish the power produced by the amplifiers at all. Compared to the impedance of your speakers the input impedance of the subwoofer's bass amplifier is very high. This means the amplifier's power will flow to the speakers and only a small amount of energy will flow to the bass amplifier.
