Currently, I'm running an Onkyo SR 805 with a Marantz NA 7004. Love both pieces, but both are older. Have a 2TB HD full of FLAC files hooked into the Marantz and it works great with exceptional sound quality.
I am looking however to either replacing the Onk or the Marantz so I can control the files on the HD with a remote app. Right now it takes some time to navigate all the files through the Marantz. Can anyone recommend an AVR or Network player that they are using in a similar fashion? Speakers are 8 ohm bookies, easy to drive.

Not sure. If I can plug my external HD into it, maybe.
