X-over rebuild for 2.3 TL

I went with Sonicap for the 2B, they sound great, and now it's time for these 2.3's to get a makeover. In another thread I noticed a mention for a discount on the Clarity cap so I'm on the fence between the ESA and the Sonicap. Having never heard a speaker with ESA's, are these two caps a toss up or is one superior?
Also, I did toy with the idea about a Duelund cast resistor for the 2B's but never went with one, I settled on the Mills which sounds fine to me. Has anyone used a Duelund in their 2.3's and if so what did you think.
Just looking to get a shopping cart loaded up soon.

Just throwing out ideas, not sure if the Duelund standard resistor is any better or worse than the mills, cheaper than the cast though. I'm not trying to go cheap, just haven't heard much talk about the standard resistors.
With that said, would the leads work with the crossover boards, especially the Gimpod boards? Would I need the extended leads or could I fabricate my own if needed without altering the value of the resistor? -
Some like Sonicap, others like Clarity. I've used both and will likely continue to do so, but for SDA's it will be Sonicap for me. BTW, Sonic Craft still has their sale prices posted.Political Correctness'.........defined

So just to be sure, this is the list for the 2.3 TL? I took it from this site but just want to double check that nothing has changed. I didn't see a 22.5 Mills so what would be the comparable value?
I think I may also change the inductors, the big 10 ga Solen is out of the budget for now but there are other possibilities.

You need to get in them to check all values. It might be correct but I'd hate to see you order then find out you're off on something.

FWIW,,I have always used sonicap and mills in my rebuilds,,it just works well, and I always call sonicap and talk with Jeff or Elliot, never had any problems,,just my .02JC approves....he told me so. (F-1 nut)

Those are the correct values for the 2.3TL.
They have the 22.5 ohm 12 watt resistors listed under Vishay Mills.Political Correctness'.........defined

Thanks.george daniel wrote: »FWIW,,I have always used sonicap and mills in my rebuilds,,it just works well, and I always call sonicap and talk with Jeff or Elliot, never had any problems,,just my .02
That's definitely the consensus, I'm sure I will be using the same again. I don't want to reinvent the wheel, but always looking for opinions.

Caps and resistors ordered, I will work on the inductors later but want to get the ball rolling.
-
I'm starting on the X-over and while removing the inductors, I measured the ohms to the hundredths with my Fluke 89 IV
These are my readings in ohms, sorry I can't get them to 3 decimal places but should be close enough.
The meters internal resistance through the leads, probes is .19-.20 ohms so I assume this should be taken into account.....do these readings appear normal?
The readings shown are from the meter and the internal resistance is not factored in.
The large coil is 3.00-3.01 ohms.
The board schematic states this should be .3 ohms but I don't see that value in the schematic, that's the one I'm curious about.

The schematics only give the inductance measurement, not the DCR. For example, the one in your last picture is .3mH, but the DCR is 0.554 Ohms.Political Correctness'.........defined

Ok, that makes sense.
