    Why would you be lusting over a Rotel.....with a Boulder in house and Cary's on the chopping block ?

    I auditioned one when I was upgrading to the RC1590 preamp. A monster amp but, really, you have much better amps now. The RC1590 never got out of the box; returned it and traded towards a McIntosh MAC6700. For the money, the RB1590 is a great amp.

    I may be...don't you have a house to plan, other bits n stuff plus gear you already have that could repurpose in a second system? Just thinking practical is all.
