I will be visiting my old stomping grounds me and my Grandson solo. Wife's staying behind as her sister and husband are visiting our place so we're getting out of dodge wouldn't mind having a beer with a fellow polkie. Hitting Mission Beach tonight, where are the good stereo shops so I can audition some new gear I can't have. I think we're going to hit up the old town cafe for some great Carne Asada, plus Skyler wants to check out the Whaley house. I might just make the 8 hours drive north to San Jose and get the remnants left over at Bluefoxes.

    Well, you missed one of the long standing audio stores, Stereo Design, as they went out of business recently after 30+ years.

    I've been to Alma Audio in the La Jolla/Pacific Beach area - good folks, good gear, so you could drop by there.

    Sunday is family day and Monday I've got a meetup for a hiking group, but Tues-Thur should work if you are still in town.
