I have the V601 and they sound great paired with the Cary pre and the parasound. Also with the Peachtree.

I'm a fan of the brand now and I'm betting they sound pretty amazing. The whole suspense intro of the thread is funny, so as soon as Dan opens up and reveals what he's up to, I guess I'll have to just chill....and listen to my new Usher speakers. They are amazing to say the least!! In advance, congrats Dan...now tell us about the speakers."if it's not fun, it's not worth it & remember folks, "It's All About The Music"!!

So I had a few hours on them on Friday in my main rig replacing the LSi 15's. They were connected to the B&K 200.5 and I threw on some of my personal "music" looking to see if they drew me into it like I normally get.
They did that and more. Now keep in mind the word "music" is a personal choice, but I found with electronic music I got more top end than the LSi's, the midrange was nice and "true" and the bass was there when called on, but lacking compared to a floorstander (again DUH).
I started listening WITHOUT my sub in the mix, in pure direct mode through my Xbox One using Pandora..... Yes I know my source could have been better, but I wanted to know what they sounded like with my worst chain.
They did great.
I added in the sub and I got back what I was missing in the lower octaves which is fine because the loft system will be using a sub as well.
In my LARGE space downstairs I had to really crank em to get em to put out the volume, but again expected given the size of the room.
Moved em to my loft tonight to replace the Bostons. They require less volume to fill the room, but given I'm going from a 5 1/4 woofer to a 7" woofer I expect that. So the Anthem is lower volume than before which I like.
Even using the ARC calibration for the Bostons (will re-run it this weekend) they still sound good and I'm enjoying low level listening through them.
I'm still going to give them some time to settle in and after I calibrate them REALLY audition them up here.
But I'm currently enjoying them and their sound.
PS If you want to hear some fun music to listen to (at least for me), this is one of my playlists on Youtube I enjoy cranking the volume on"....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." What are the chances if I put together a GTG later this summer/fall you'd be willing to bring your Ushers to my place so I could hear them in my bigger room that somewhat swallows these Ushers?"....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." Maybe if I were 20 years younger?? The Ushers are permanently placed in the upper half of our home (that's our bedroom) (13 Steps) and but kicking work to get them up there. It's a great idea though. You are always welcome to stop on by and check them out. Did I mention these aren't going anywhere?? Congrats on your Usher addition!"if it's not fun, it's not worth it & remember folks, "It's All About The Music"!!
