I feel like I'm getting really good bass from the 150's, can't imagine it being much better, but that's just because maybe I haven't heard it...

Should I look at adding a sub? How much would it add do you think? I'm trying to put it into perspective and determine if it's worth it...

I see that SVS gets a lot of love on here...which one should I consider?

Thanks as always

My 02 cents worth i would go with a 12 inch sub from polk i think the model is the psw 505 you should check out cruchfield i know it is not much of a discount but it is a good value for 499.99 in regards to the svs i do not have much experience with those so i cannot tell you what you should do.

I had 150's... alot of bass but not a good match for a strong sub, Its just to much bass and not enough midrange. I say 70's, rt55i's if you can find em, rti38's.. and a Pb1-isd SVS, unless you have a large room, then a pb2-isd or similiar... 2 channel rigs would be great with 150's..
    MY HT RIG:
    Sherwood p-965
    Sherwood sd871 dvd
    Rotel 1075 amp x5
    LSI15 mains
    LsiC center
    LSIfx surround backs
    Lsi7 side surrounds
    SVS pb12/plus2

    2 Channel Rig:

    nad 1020 Pre-amp
    Rotel 1080 stereo amp
    Polk sda 2B
    kenwood grunt Tuner
    realistic lab 450 TT
    Signal cable IC

I replaced my Polk PSW450 12" sub with an SVS PB1-ISD and the difference was dramatic. I think faster100's recommendation is good...the RTi70s will give you strong mids and the SVS will produce a ton of low, tight bass.
    Mains: Polk RT800i
    Center: Polk CS400i
    Surrounds: Polk RT35i
    Sub: SVS PB1-ISD
    Receiver: Harman/Kardon AVR 520
