FS: MSI GTX 980 Gaming 4G

I"ve upgraded to the new 1080 and now have my 980 for sale. It's in great shape, has always worked flawlessly, and overclocks well. I've run a fairly conservative OC with no power increase and this card has never seen 70 degrees in my rig so has always run well under the maximum temp. This means you're getting a card that has not been abused, unlike alot of the models you'll find for sale on eBay that have been overvolted and have a reduced lifespan.

As always it's in great shape and I still have the original box, accessories and receipt. I don't imagine there's a huge market for this here so will leave it up for a couple days before posting elsewhere.

$250 shipped within the lower 48

I keep looking at this ad because anything I've bought from assimilated has been awesome. My machine is built around an i5-4590 with a 500w power supply and an r9 270. I don't really game but my kids do a lot of minecraft modding and some gaming occasionally, but they tend to go Xbox for convenience. I'm about to delve into a 4K tv. I like the idea of incremental upgrades, but I'm not sure if I should be jumping on this are or if I simply don't need it for present use. I'm pretty sure I'd have to bump up the psu to accommodate it.

I'll take the 980 if it's still available. I've been talking to recovery one and he's been super helpful on sifting through the options. If he wants the 980, by all means, I will be second in line to him.

Had some more time to read up today. Because of my PSU issue that likely requires upgrading from 500w, I'm thinking that the gtx1060 is my cheaper upgrade path.... Can anyone advise?
