Usher V601 bookies for sale. Drivers are in fantastic shape. Cosmetics are I think a 7 due to 2 nics on the lower side of one of them on a tiny one on the top of the same side. One of the grills inside looks like they were cracked and glued back. The grills you cannot see when on the speaker and when I tried to take a picture of it, it would not show up. They did not have the stock jumpers when I bought them and my speaker cable is bi-wire so I did not replace them.

$220 plus shipping from 60440. The box is about 35 lbs.
They sound darn good especially at this price.

The packing socks and original box included.

I forgot to add if using paypal, unless it's paid as friends, add paypal fees. People between Illinois and Minnesota, I do go to Minnesota a few times a year so a meet up for drop off is possible.

I will probably be in MN either at the end of August or September. Or shipping looks like 35$ via fedex.

    Damn you @erniejade

Let me ponder. I'd have to find someone to buy my cherry Boston Acoustic VR-M50's in cherry @scubalab first though as I dont have that amount on me, and I leave for a business trip tomorrow for the rest of the week :rage:

Dan, if you want them, I'll front the money for you. I know how bad you've been wanting to try a pair.

@DSkip thats a very generous offer. Again let me think and I will get back to you tomorrow AM.

In looking at the spec's my ONLY concern is the efficiency rating when paired with my Anthem MRX-500 AVR. I think since I'm only planning on Stereo I should have enough current and power from it to drive them but would love some thoughts on that.....

@erniejade Just in case, can you get me a quote to 46278? I'm ok with shipping slow, dont need em right away so do ground with whatever carrier you trust (I know your packaging would be fine, and that you'd insure them to boot).

    Dan,

Sorry man. Can't commit to buying anything else. I'd love to swap out my black VR-M50s for cherry, but I'm having a HE11 of a time selling the two things I've got for sale. I'm getting tired of negotiating, settling on a price, getting shipping quotes for people only to have them say they ended up buying something else. Sorry to vent here, but I think you should go for these if dabutcher doesn't. Seems like a great price to get your ears on some Ushers!

Derek - you're too kind man. What a gesture!!

    GLWTS erniejade!

No worries, if (big if here) I end up with Ushers and want to sell the Boston's, I will hold them for a bit for you in case things change for you.

    **** it.

    @erniejade

Put me in line. Any chance you will be ANYWHERE near Bloomington IL this week? Or how close are you to there?

I'm there from Mon night - Thurs, but with a company car so I'd need to make arrangements to get a ride toward you if we were to meet, but I might be able to make that work maybe lol...

When @EndersShadow tells you to meet him in the middle of nowhere by a corn field, that should set up some red flags on a lot of people but............................................... I still meet him.

Last night, @EndersShadow learned cables do make a difference especially power cables.................................................................................................................

He definitely has pics, but came to his senses before sending the one pitdogg2's referring to. He knows we can't be trusted... >:)

I know he's happier than a kid on Christmas! Glad this sale worked out as it did.

I am glad it worked out also. I try to pass along any savings to people in the polk family. In this hobby / addiction, we all like to try different things out. I've wanted to get my ears on the usher signature sound and found this pair locally. They are a good sounding speaker and they make me want to see how the rest of the line goes. I liked them quite a bit.

The Left speaker, that ****, decided to stay up late and relax with some TV while the right speaker hit the hay.
