So for Father's Day, my wife got me a some track time (autocross) in a Ferrari 458 Italia.
Got to say, it was probably the most fun I have ever had that didn't involve a stripper, 40 feet of fire hose, a Pygmy goat and a kiddie pool full of lime jello.

Looks like a lot of fun dude, but you still could put some lime jello in there to complete they experience..

Honestly, I didn't look at the speedo or tach once. Having the shift lights in the top of the steering wheel was all that I really looked at.

We didn't get video of the instructor playing with all the nanny controls turned off...that thing is stupid without the electronics to keep you in check.

They had a pair of Z06 Vettes there that they you could do 5 laps in for an additional $79. If the Ferrari was the scalpel of the bunch, then the Vettes were the machete.
Beastly exhaust and beastly power but lacking the finesse of the Ferrari or the Lambo.
The GT-R was amazing in that it was the easiest to drive fast on the autocross course but it was also almost absolutely silent compared to the other exhaust notes.

LOL...as we were driving home, my wife asked, "So what did you think?"
I replied, "I think we need to replace our house with a Ferrari 458 Italia..."
