Am I the only one? I'll be sitting there just listening, casual volumes at like 70db, and I'll just doze off. Does this happen to anyone else?
- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.

Only when I'm really tired around 4am after I have school and work where I've been awake for about 22hrs and really doped up. I find that my music connects to me more when I'm half asleep because I'm not thinking much and I'm very relaxed. Any other time I won't fall asleep.

It can relax me to the point of near sleep, but I inevitably always get up to turn it off.

Absolutely-if it's the right stuff. My then girlfriend-now wife and I would put in a CD on repeat every night and not turn it off until 3-4:00AM. Old Tears for Fears, The Cure, Echo and the Bunnymen, Sade, etc... were the tracks of choice. I still hear All Cats Are Grey in my sleep sometimes and that was 10-12 years ago. These days we fall asleep to the sounds of the air purifier and ceiling fan.

music does not put me to sleep. I need it to keep me awake... while driving. I do a lot of driving in my job. and music keeps my mind on something.

Even at home.. if I am listening to music even in the background.. it's not the music that is putting me to sleep.. it's usually boredom or reading or here in the forums.. zzzzzzzzzzzzz! zzzzzzzzzzz!
