Do the RT800i towers accept banana plugs? It looks like it doesn't. same with the CS400i that I have. why is this or am I doing something wrong?

Secondly, what is the "break in" period for these RT800i's? I have had them since Christmas and I listen to DVD's and CD's as well as PS2 and DVD audio with them. should break in take about 2 or three weeks. or two to three months? with about 2 hours use a day.

thanks for your help!
P.S. the DVD audio of Fleetwood Mac Rumors rocks.. it's the best DVD audio mix I have heard so far to date. Get it and see for yourself how awesome it sounds with your Polk speakers. :D

the rt800i's do accept bananas. from the factory, there is a plastic clip on the end of the binding posts which may be casuing you some confusion, this clip pops out and exposes the banana plug-ins. be sure that the binding posts are wound all the way down (hand-tight) before insert banana plugs.

as for 'break-in' time, i don't think it is a set # of hours. if you want to help speed this process of the drivers breaking themselves in, i recommend using them for background music, even if at low levels whenever you are at home for the first couple of weeks.
