Hey all!
I have a pair of Monitor 5s (6.5 inch mid range/8 inch passive, SL2000s) for sale locally here in Phoenix/Tempe/Chandler/Gilbert/Mesa, Arizona. One SL2000 Has gone out but the drivers and passives are all great. No cross over issues, cabinet pressure good and they sound great.
Just in a pickle and need some quick cash, I would rather give these to a Polkie locally.
7/10 cosmetically
Missing 1 pair of Speaker terminal nuts
One SL2000 going out (works just muffled)
Missing 1 Polk Audio Badge
$55 obo.

You know my uncle who turned me onto vintage Polk (SDA SRS 2s) found a pair of Monitor 7s at a goodwill out here. At the time I knew next to nothing about vintage Polk, being the case I never had him audition the 7s for me. I kind of regret that now knowing what I do.
The 5s sounded great! With one of the SL2000s out it kind of evened the 12K spike. Paired them with a little 8 inch sub and I was in heaven...until I picked up my SDAs.
