Memphis

Looks like I'm moving to Memphis. Got the call that I'll be getting an offer letter
for a job on Tuesday. House is just about to go on the market.
The wife likes the idea, so it's a go. Off to the land of Elvis!

    Congrats Keith
I know you and your wife wife have been wanting a change of scenery.

Love them Blues. I went to Navy electronics school just outside of Memphis, and have vague positive memories of Memphis. Congrats on the new job and move. Change is good.

I was in NAS Memphis about 40 years ago.
I was asked if I could take over a project that's
stalled as part of my new duties.
I've worked in the pressure cooker before,
    so this is nothing new.
I will miss some things in Texas. Hopefully there
are some Polkies up in the area.

Cool. I was there from 69-70. I am sure there are audio nuts there, even if they aren't Polkies. :)

Memphis has the best BBQ in my opinion. Also, see if you can take a tour of Egglestonworks as they make some amazing speakers.

Congrats on the new job and good luck with the move.

Great town. Take the Sun Studios tour, and go to the Stax museum. Rendezvous Ribs is the greatest BBQ place on the planet. The Bluefin restaurant down by the ballpark and Peabody Hotel is also a great place to eat, tell them to make it snappy!

Wouldn't worry about finding people who spend way too much on audio gear in a city the size of Memphis. Has to be at least 4 or 5.

I would personally worry about finding decent fajitas.
