Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

What is the purpose of power ports? Do they clean up the quality of the signal before is goes into a audio system? I really don't know what their purpose is. Can someone shed some light on these.

Lower noise floor due to better build quality over your standard outlet. The premium PS Audio outlets are even better....and obviously more expensive.

You guys are lucky I've been busy or I would have snagged these quicker than Brock in a Tube **** house.

Pangea Audio is making some, but their prices aren't much lower than PS Audio's.

Check out Music Direct. I've bought a **** TON of PS Audio gear from them lately (AC-3 powercables) and its all new and at super low costs.

I still have this available and it's only slightly more than the cost of a new Power Port.
