GPU: AMD XFX 290X 4GB (reference card) in mint condition $220 shipped
Performance according to leaked benchmarks should be noticeably better than the upcoming AMD 480 Polaris (which is about the same as a vanilla 290) and the price is probably lower (due to likely low initial supply and scalpers).
It's VR Ready according to Steam VR Benchmark and you should be able to max out most games at 1080p at 60fps (one exception is The Witcher 3, which is one reason why I'm splurging on the most powerful GPU available)
I'm also open to trade for an iPad Air 2

Please keep in mind that I'll sell this GPU as soon as I get a 1080 or 1070.

According to benchmarks the RX 480 which in the 4GB version costs $200, it's less powerful than a 290X
