Thanks for posting your watch Mark. I don't normally like a lot of dials, but I have a soft spot for tachymetres as i've got one on my current Casio watch. I like the black bezel on blue dial, day/date window & Super Oyster bracelet. Really nice timepiece!

Very nice looking watches guys. This is what I have on today. I have a couple of watches with this one being my favorite. I did recently pick up a new Tag Carrera automatic. I'll get a pic soon and post it also.

Joey - you should be ashamed to have so many great watches. :) A Rolex is high up on my list but I just can't justify it at this point.

Hi folks, my Seiko SNZF17J1 arrived today safe and sound. I love watches, so little package put a big smile on my face. My first new watch in years! I also received the OEM watch parts from Harold (Yobokies) incl: a lumed black bezel, domed sapphire crystal glass & Mercedes hands.

The last piece of the puzzle is ordering a better Super Oyster bracelet. After several attempts I got no reply from William Jean from Strapboutique, so i'm going with a 22mm Super Oyster from Strap code - strapcode.com/store/22mm-super-oyster-watch-bracelet-seiko-snzf17-urchin-diver-clasp-brushed-p-4061.html#.V3tg06Kt8au. I'm still sussing out whether i'll use the factory Seiko clasp, or possibly a sc clasp.

With a bit of luck, i'll be bringing all the parts into my watch technician in the next 2 wks to create my unique version. Here are some photos fyi ;) ..

The Aquaracer is my daily watch. When I first got it I took it off all the time. Now it's on from yard work to construction to everything possible.
In the watch box, top left Esq my first expensive to me watch, made of titanium. Bought it in college think it was about 650$. Next was recently inherited, I suspect it's a replica. I've never even brought it in a dealer. Next a timex owned by my grandfather. Still ticks but needs work. It is more sentimental than anything else. Bottom left, my wifes alter ego followed by her ESQ with mop face and surrounded by diamonds.

@WIllow, nice watch case! You have an impressive collection. I have noticed that audiophiles tend to appreciate fine timepieces and get into collecting. I could see myself owning probably 3 or 4 watches at some point (incl: two Rolexes). Check out my Rolex thread here.

I have my Pebble for wearing at work and any time I'm not in sweats, but I decided I needed a watch I can bang around more. Tomorrow UPS is delivering my new Traser P6600 mil spec watch with Tritium markers, NATO strap, 24 hour numerals, and Swiss day-date movement.

As much as I am not into the iwatch, I think I might end up needing one for work... Unfortunately

I thought about wearing two watches at once but that be goofy

It arrived! These watches come preset in German, but the manual makes it look easy enough to switch it to English.

That looks very much like my Luminox.
Nothing like that 20 year long glowing watch
    markers!

The tritium markers are awesome, and one of my requirements when buying an "active" watch like this; the minute hand is covering the radioactive symbol in that picture.
  • Here is an image of the Seiko I have worn for quite a while. Starting to show some wear but not bad when you consider it has several thousand hours in salt water from my time as a commercial diver. I would switch between this stainless bracelet and a heavy rubber band for diving. I have always preferred the metal bracelets with the split links as they seem more flexible. Rolex calles it a Jubilee style.

This watch also has a dual language option for the day. I pick english and the day indication will move two places when it changes passing the option not selected.

Hi folks, Harold (Yobokies) sent me these photos of my watch with it's subtle mods incl: MBenz hands, domed sapphire crystal & lumed bezel. My Strap code Super Oyster bracelet + button chamfer clasp are also shipping from Hong Kong about the same time. Here are some photos!

Well folks, my partial Submariner homage is finally finished! I got my modded Seiko SNZF17J1 back from Harold Ng, and Super Oyster bracelet in the last week & had the bracelet sized at the watch shop last night. The mods include a lumed bezel insert, Mercedes hands, domed Sapphire crystal with blue AR coating & Super Oyster bracelet with button chamfer clasp from Strapcode.

Harold's work of course was perfect, and the Strapcode Super Oyster bracelet is a perfect fit for my watch & a nice upgrade over the factory Super Oyster. The Button Chamfer clasp also proved to be an excellent choice, is very solid and well designed, and compliments the bracelet perfectly. The staff in the watch shop were even asking me where I bought the bracelet & commented on how nice it is. I'm loving the finished timepiece!
