I'll say it again, Mark is a great guy to deal with. I've met him on two occasions (bought his B&K, then realized that I needed to try the Pioneer Elite, so I bought that too). If I had a need, I'd have bought everything he has for sale here. He takes very good care of his gear. Everything he has is like new, and his prices are very good. I'm really surprised these speakers haven't sold yet either, although, Central PA doesn't have many forum members local to pick up.

Surely someone within a couple hour drive needs a nice front soundstage...

^I'd like to thank you for picking up that Pio.... it was tempting me lol...

Yeah Dan, I picked it up to replace a lower end Pio in our bedroom thinking it was just a nicer, beefier receiver. I was BLOWN away by the improvements in SQ. I was amazed at how much better it did with the room EQ and how incredible the surround sounds now.

Mark contacted me the other day to see if I wanted to sell it back to him... I feel horrible, but we like it so much, and had since gotten rid of the old receiver that it won't be leaving our home anytime soon!

Agreed on all fronts. I snagged the SVS back in June and it's been fantastic so far, even stashed behind my couch for WAF reasons. I even drove 2.5 hours (or more, I can't recall with all the tolls and traffic) to pick it up. Well worth the effort.

That was a great pickup Nick! Well worth the drive from MD for you. I considered the sub, but it wouldn't fit in my setup.
  • Hey Nick. I'm so glad to hear that you are enjoying the sub. So you had to stash it behind your couch? I would have loved to have seen the look on your wife's face when you wrestled that monster into the house! lol Did you ever get to test it out on the "Darla Scene" in Finding Nemo?

  • When I first listed my gear for sale, I thought I was going to have to downsize to a soundbar due to space limitations. But I think I can make a pair of bookshelf speakers work even better. So I just ordered a pair of the Polk LSiM703s and now could use a 2 channel amp. If anybody might be interested in trading these RTi10s and the CSi5 for a two channel amp, we should talk.

  • Speakers still for sale or trade.

Thanks. I'm listening to them right now and I agree with you. I think they sound fantastic. They are being driven by my new Yamaha Aventage RX-A840 receiver in two channel mode. If they sound this good without an amp, I know I will really be impressed when I get a power amp to drive them.

  • Everything has been sold. The speakers are on the way to their new home. Thanks, Bernie, for the nice transaction. It was a pleasure meeting you and Michele this evening. I hope you get many many years of enjoyment from these speakers.
