And thank you all for your hospitality. All the Polk folks I've met during my mid-west run have been nothing but welcoming.
From Steve, Hannelore and Skylar in the QC to Ryan and Robin in Des Moines. TonyB and Brian in Chicago.....
    Thanks to you all.
They have invited me into their homes, showed me around the town, driven over an hour for a dinner in the middle of Illinois.
It's not just a group of people here talking, learning and sometimes getting into fisticuffs about a hobby. But a bunch of great friends that have yet to meet face to face.
I had my reservations about coming out here to Iowa. Wake up, change lights, deal with the utility, sleep and do it again.
If ANY of y'all find yourselves in Iowa....
Look these folks up and stop by for a while. Nothing but good people.
Thanks again from the bottom of my heart, or in Robins case...my stomach...
Hell of a cook she is.
I'll see y'all soon and my door is always open should you come to NC.
    Thank you Iowa....

I do believe that's exactly what Outback had to do after we left. For those who never met Russ, I did manage to take a quick pic before we left........

Hey, I have to pay extra for the ounce of wine! Besides, if they give us a choice ( 6 or 9 oz) and were going to pay extra for it, yes I am going to weigh it up. I know not everyone carries a scale around but, when it comes to wine, you got to keep the bartenders honest!
