2.1 Computer Set-Up

Hello,

It's been several years since I have posted on here and now I'm back looking for some help. Way back I purchased a set of Monitor Series Speakers for a home theater/music set up that has served me well. Now that we are planning a second kid it's going to become my sons bedroom.

I have four Monitor 70s for front and side, and a set of Monitor 40s for rear, pair of Monitor cs2s for the front and a pair of PSW505s for subs. All of it ran off a Yamaha RXV2700 I purchased from this forum.

I spend most of my time at my desk now and I am thinking about re-purposing either the 40s or the cs2s and one of the 505s into a 2.1 set up at the computer.

Trouble is I will have to build a shelf above the desk to since there is no room on the desk itself (I run 3 monitors) My thought is I can mount them above me and angle them both down.

The alternative I thought of was building a shorter shelf and putting the cs2 under the monitors and point them up slightly.

I rather not sell everything and start over encase we get to another house with room for the whole set up again.
