RT3000 Satellites

Here's something you don't see very often. Two pairs of RT3000 Satellites for sale. One pair looks to be a little nicer than the other but they both appear to be pretty-good.

I don't have my RT5000 systems anymore but this would be an opportunity for those on here I've seen that are stuck using RT55s or some other mismatched and inferior speakers with their RT3000p subs to finally have the real-deal for their set-up.

Hey Gatecrasher, it looks like someone took your picture off the net ant created an auction for the RT3K! This is in fact the first of your RT3K's that you sold and if I'm correct I was the first buyer. I immediately recognized it as soon as I saw it... What do you think? I hope it's not you posting it, then I would be embarrassed!
Anyways, I thought you may wanted to have a look.

Yes someone is fraudulently using my pictures I took for you chefkungfu!

I reported this to eBay and they told me there is nothing they can do about it because I can't prove they are mine. I said so eBay encourages this type of fraud and the guy said I could fill out some form and some other BS but nothing would happen so I hung up.

Pretty-lame. The guy obviously got the pictures from this website.

Yeah I told him he was a fraud and that I had filed a complaint.

We'll see what he does.

Here was his response:

"I grabbed a pic off the Internet showing the system. Same as mine. I can send a million pics of my own system to the buyer any time. I was simply saving time as I am not home right now to photograph them. I have no idea what your issue is, I have my own system and it is purchased by me and sitting in my living room. There is nothing fraudulent about it.

I'm glad you were able to contact the seller and correct it. It's not right that people just help themselves to things like that. He should have left it blank until he had the appropriate pictures on hand. Better yet, he should've been better prepared when placing the auction.

Yeah when you are selling something on eBay (or anywhere else for that matter) the expectation is that the picture being shown is of the actual item being sold. This guy is obviously an ****. He said he could take millions of pictures of his actual speakers but was simply trying to save time. lol

Funny how he neglected to inform potential bidders that the pictures were merely representations and not the actual speakers.

I had an idiot do this same thing with a picture of a car car of mine a while back too.
