Been jamming to Queen & Kansas all evening (till wife yelled at me :) ) on the workbench system. It consist of a Yamaha cr840 with a Sony cdp ??? with a pair of B&W dm860's. Ive had these speakers for awhile now & i put them up in the winter. Let me tell you i really enjoy them. The tweeters stand out nicely & dont fatigue & the mids sound excellent & the bass is smooth with a tad punch even with the Yamaha which are known to lack on bass. I havent tried adding a sub because i really dont Big Bass. If you have ever heard these i hope your experience was as good as mine is & if you ever find them for a "score" dont hesitate. Snag'Em

Your B&W's are really nice looking! Glad your enjoying them and I always like changing things up and trying new ones.

I got a kick out of my Monitor 10's with the SDA 2B crossovers in them as it sure change their sound. would have sounded better if I had the crossover redone and/or the RDO tweeters but I am not wanting to do that yet!

Just Watched the Kansas Doc called Miracles out of nowhere! It is worth a watch as it has me breaking out all my Kansas LP's B)

I hate reading about someone attempting something so cool & i cant hear them LOL. i rotate at least 4-5 different speakers in that set up. Its fun & some (wife) think im crazy. But-like you, it brings us a little Audio Happiness :)
