The house itself, in Silicon Valley, is only 83 at 8PM, but the HT room is 90. The dual Cambridge Audio 840W amps are only a notch down from the Pass amps in both sound quality, and heat generation. On the other hand, they are (list) $17K less than the Pass.

    Yes. That was my first introduction to Shunyata power cords, since Pangea didn't have a 20 amp IEC cable. I bought the $100 Shunyata Venom and was slack jawed with the improvement. Then I thought if a $100 cord can do this then what will a $1000 cord do? Haven't looked back since then. :)
