MDF is 1 1/2" thick and top of inside has slabs of 1/4" thick slate pieces glued in place. No wonder they are so heavy. I sent Madisound the specs. Let me see what they come up with. Showed the wife that they are not much bigger than the footprint of the Monitor 70's in the living room. Just wider, taller, and deeper. Never even had feet installed. Peace

Thanks Jpete. Contacted him for model numbers of drivers and photo of xovers. Since his cabinets are damaged. Too bad he won't take a few bills for them. See if he responds. Peace

Dang....so what's the "stranger" price on them?

Fairly sure I have a pair of Dynaudio D21's for those. Message me if interested. I'll give you the "Polk price". I had a pair of 17w75's but sold them last year.

Thanks Halo for the offer. Waiting to see what Madisound comes up with after I sent them specs or measurements of everything. Offering them on C.L. For $899. Sounds like some people on here want me to give them away? In my opinion,Amazing looking cabinets. Way sexier than most mass produced stuff out there. Madisound said that Dynaudio no longer sells new drivers. You can only buy used or rebuilt ones? Thanks. D

Next time don't post what a deal you got at $20 and then try and sell them here in the same week for 30 times what you paid. Makes you look like a ****. Sort of ruins any rep you had too.

Yea I got to go with H9 on this one. I am fine with you flipping for a profit. I expected maybe $150-200. But $600 is insane when we know what you got them for...

The FM is for passing on good deal to polkies,,this ain't retail or anything close to it. I have been fortunate to get great deals on equipment that never even made it to the FM,,,the spirit here is to pass these good deals around here first,,then go elsewhere if it does not pan out here. I'd pay a couple hundie for those if I was local to you, even after seeing the post you made when you got em. Those would be an awesome project to get up and running. Custom crossovers and some nice drivers. Hope you decide to keep and build.

Too big of towers for my living room. Sold the cabinets for $200 and bought a pair of LsiM 703's from Adorama Black Friday for $699. Good luck. D

I picked these up from Dabutcher and patiently waited for Dynaudio drivers to appear on CL. For some reason..... I got SUPER lucky and found a guy selling (3) D260’s and (6) 17W75’s and crossovers. I had the cabinets lightly sanded and re finished by a cabinet shop, they are now 1 of 4 sets of Paragon Acoustics speakers I have. I absolutely love the sound of these speakers, Paragon made a great product. I now have spare drivers and can rebuild the crossovers as needed. gxtr7p9oi0pf.jpeg

They sound fantastic, dare I say better than the originals? Yup! Very happy with them since I can't justify the cost of Dynaudio Confidence 4's!
