Looking for something a little on the warmer side. I just sold my Oppo and I didn't think I'd miss it for blu ray concerts. I was dead wrong. I'd like to stay under four bills but will go higher for the right deal.

    Thanks, Rick. Under consideration. It has Burr Brown 1781 chip set which should be good. I've been leaning towards a Marantz UD5007.

    I have both the Denon BDP-1611UD and the Marantz UD5005 and the internals are identical as is performance. I am using the Marantz but the Denon is available.

    The Denon only does SACD as multichannel, correct?

    You can select SACD, Multi or CD layer on the Denon. At least on some (my DVD-2910) you have to select before you start playing.
