looking for used pre w/ remote

Guys I found this in today's CL/ an Adcom gtp 450 w/ remote. It has almost what I need and the remote is very important as you will hear. One major problem is the 450 does not have any phono inputs which of course shuts down my LPs . For a listing of $75 does it pay to go for this and take full advantage of the remote and I'll still have the Dynaco to play LPs when I get better. I'm having my knee replaced and is one brutal operation and the remote to change from cd to tuner to aux will help a lot. I've been looking at Geppy's NAD in the for sale section which does have some issues ,is way more cash but does everything i could need only no answered p/m. Should I jump on the Adcom 450 and see if I can get it even cheaper. I just e-mailed the dude and hope it does not alert him. after all it is only swapping the amp input cables. Remember I also have an Adcom 555 and allegedly supposed to smooth some of the brightness out of it.

I got one of those in its original box in mint condition $75 is a good price. I wouldn't sell mine for that. Get it and a phono preamp to go with it and your good.

Never mind the dude got back to me and all his gear was sold. I friggin hate when people don't delete their sold stuff. In any event I remembered I do have a pre/amp that has all the bells and whistles I could need and then some. The Sony ES-2000 which P-Man gifted me and I was holding it as a back up. Thanks again Bill my world is saved. Now I can relax and have my operation and not worry about getting up to change inputs.

Tons of GTP-500s on ebay for reasonable prices. Has a phono section too. I have one that I used with my 555 for several years. Matter of fact, if you want to PM me an offer, I may be interested in letting it leave the closet.

I've got a Emotiva in the FS section. IDK if this would work for you or not but it does have a Phono input. What do you guys think? Be honest you will not hurt my feelings.

Now the offers are pouring in. Thanks but for now I'll use the Sony then after I'm all healed up and should have some more mad cash I'll let you guys know. Most important still would be a remote, cd/aux, tuner and phono inputs. I don't really listen to FM anymore so a built in tuner is just a waste and rather have that tuner in for AVR sources. Thanks again..Also who p/m on that side side too. I just looked and I think all 500s have a built in tuner again not for me.
