Last year was my 1st and by far a way more terrible experience then last night's show. I planned this one knowing what I was getting into and got some lodge seats 1st row w/ not a seat before me. This meant no hippy hoards dancing in your face, the music not obscured at all and just a way better sound. Again they have all pro gear, w/ Hard Trucker cabinets, pedals, a Hammond B-3 w/ Lesile cabinet and so on. Now the music is going on and a bit different from a typical Dead 1st set w/ no cowboy tunes or just up and comers just what they wanted I guess. Even so sound was regulated to be fair as was the light show. If you have to see a cover band DSO doing The Grateful Dead are much, much better than the Dead on a mediocre night. If not into the Dead then you have no business reading this...lol the place my favorite is the Count Basie Theater a 1200 seater w/ the lodge and a balcony. A great place to see s show. I've seen Hot Tuna, George Thurogood, Moody Blues, Steve Martin-Eddie Brickell and some others. Now they have an outer hang spot for drinking and b/sh%ting. A great night much better than last years ton 'o fun
