Thanks to Russ and a friend(much good will there) my new speakers made it safe and sound.

I don't know where to start but I will say they are more than I expected. These speakers are huge compared to my 8T's and the sound stage is even larger. They seem so easy for my STASIS to drive and their accuracy is remarkable and the Bass just fills the room nicely. In talking to a few gents that attended Russmans gathering I'm confused regarding the mids... I mean they sound great to me but may be a little simbilant(ch sp).... but not stressing in the least. What should I be listening for?

Also there is a black plastic thingy above the tweeter. Is this an after market diffraction reducer thingy?

again Thanks Russ you really hooked me up.

HBomb - Congrats on your newly aquired 15's! I believe the "diffraction reducer", as you call it, comes from Polk on the speaker originally. At least, the 11tl's I used to own had one with their 3000 tweets.
BTW - I should hope it has twice of everything, they are twice as big as the 8t's!

    Congrats again.

Thats interesting about the the black plastic thingy;) They are huge. There is a huge differencs between my 8T's and these guys and the 8T's will do fine in the bedroom.

come to think of it I'm going to stack my 8t's on top and then wash everything down with Amour All:D they'll sound great that way!!!!

Don't forget to coat the fake laminate cabinets with lots of Pledge. Gotta love that thick, waxy shine!!
