RM300 sub? value? is it worth it.

I came across an RM3000 set. The satalites are in OK shape, but IMO old small speakers with foam surrounds don't have much value. I am interested whether the sub alone is worth it for sub $75. I have an amp to drive it as a stand alone sub. I read the base is pretty good and tight, and matches well with other polks. It may not be worth the effort though. I eventually plan on getting a bigger better sub.
