NICE Vandersteen 2CE Signature speakers w stands - $695

I am selling my Vandersteen 2CE Signature 1 speakers with stands. The 2CE Signature was on Stereophile's Recommended list for several years and was a Joint Editors award winner in 2000. If you are looking at this you know what these are. The contain a 10 inch coupler, 8 inch woofer, 4.5 midrange and 1 inch tweeter. The tweeter and midrange have level controls. The speakers work perfectly and are in great shape. These have the dark walnut end caps. As you can see in the pictures there are a couple of marks and scratches but they look better and very nice in person. Speakers are 39 inches tall and weigh 60lbs plus stands. They have a response of 29-29k +//- 3db and an 86DB SPL. The stands arte loaded and come with the spikes. The speakers can be bi wired or bi amped. A great value as I am asking $695. I am MN and would prefer local pickup. Thanks

Nice. One of the lowest price speakers that could be considered 'reference' quality. I always wanted to try a pair, but I'm out of the 'game' now. GLWS.

I've got a pair of these and they are "keepers". Accurate and easy to listen to and really come alive with an amp, but not absolutely necessary.
And, of course, Keith is as good and honest of a seller as we got. -
Very nice price. I had a pair of these around 10 yrs ago and sold them because I was moving out of state.
