Testing 1.2TLs and tweeter output question

I decided it was time to do the testing procedures. I did the resistance testing and they are within 5% on all combinations. So all is good.

It's the testing of the dimensional array where I have a question. I found static on the FM band, turned the balance all the way to the left speaker and checked the drivers. All the MW drivers on the right are active, but I can't detect anything from the tweeters. Are they supposed to be active as well? I rotated the balance to the right and the left speaker's MWs were active and I think I detected a faint amount of output from the tweeters, but it could just be the MWs resonating the tube I was using to listen better.

Now I also did the test where you disconnect the negative cables and when rotated either left or right the sound was dispersed and lacking bass. The centering of the balance control resulted in silence. That test seems to have gone well.

I think I might have an answer to my own question. The tweeters aren't part of the dimensional array. Therefore, they are inactive on the speaker opposite the balance control setting.
