Is this the "wire marker" noted in wiring diagram?

I've been thinking about the wiring in my 1.2TLs. The original owner stated that in the first year of owning them, they had 3 bad drivers. He couldn't remember which ones, but said they sent him replacements and he swapped them out.

I thought I'd check the driver's gaskets and such, and while there, check for proper wiring. I imagine he did it correctly, but you never know.

I noticed that the second from bottom driver on the left dimensional array, it had two blue wires on the positive post and a blue and green wire with a green band around the crimp on the negative post. Is this correct? Is that green band around the crimp the wire marker? If so, then isn't the marker supposed to be on the two blue wires? I've attached a pic0jjjokg8r4lp.jpg

The marker should be on the positive wires.

So that would be the twin blue wires? The marker is on the wrong set? Or...it's on the right set and that set is on the wrong terminal? I'm assuming that red mark denotes positive.

I don't recall. Best to trace the wires from the crossover unless someone else chimes in. Yes, the red dot is positive.

Going to have to wait until tomorrow. I pulled the speaker and did a little snooping. I don't think it will do me any good as the tracing I was able to do shows that the green wire with the blue is coming from the negative side of the crossover, but that blue wire connected to the green goes up the the next speaker to the positive post. That would mean the speaker above is supposed to be wired out of phase?

Tomorrow will be better as I can pull the crossover and do a better trace.

    It's a series/parallel circuit.

Well the wire marker isn't where it should be, but the wiring is correct. The top and bottom pairs and parallel and they are then connected in series. This is what threw me off as the negative side of the second from bottom driver went up to the positive side of the second from top driver. Makes sense if connecting in series.

    Thanks for the input.
