Whould a older HT amp be worth it

I'm currently using a Yamaha htr 5650 rated at 90watts in 8ohms thats made around 2005 and have come across a RX-V1000 for $100 made in 2001 rated at 100watts into 8 ohms. The 5650 has no preouts but more features, where as the 1000 has a full set of preouts that I could use the fronts with a nad 40watt or a kenwood 100watt.Being as the kinks sang on a [ low budget] would a amp of this vintage be worth the investment? As my current financial status will prohibit a more substantial upgrade for quite some time

You should save your money. Doesn't seem like a big enough step to warrant spending anything.
