@vcwatkins It's a straight shot up to Rockville on the Red Line from Dupont Circle Station going towards Shady Grove. Twinbrook is the stop I believe and it's quite literally right behind the hotel.

HAHAHA. I try to take a trip up to DC at lest once a year for a while now; and still haven't completely got the metrorail "down to a T" yet. That's mostly because I'm usually enjoying myself way to much. It's a good thing I always go with Buddies of mine.
I don't know whats going on with the Bold feature, because I can't seem to turn it off in this post after using it for the "way".

It will certainly run from Twinbrook to Dupont. What no one can tell you if it will be every 15 minutes, which is typical for a weekend, or less often. Even with the maintenance schedule known, mishaps are sporadic enough that you can show up to the station and have to wait 25-30 minutes sometimes.
Also, if they are doing maintenance, they will often just delay trains (single tracking) or run a shuttle between stations. Inconvenient, but not the end of the world. If you don't want the hassle, there's always a horde of Uber riders at your beck and call. DC is a city where Uber is hyper effective.
