Another DIY screen in the works

Yesterday I started construction of a second screen. This one will be 85" diagonal vr the current 80". This time around I decided to use 1/4" press-board and 2x2's vr the 1x4s and blackout fabric of the first.

I plan to paint this one white first time around and play with some filters before, if I even do, paint it gray like the current.

Unfortunately, I cannot go larger then 85". The PJ is maxed out and relocating it back farther will not work. But, with seating at 9' and 12' the 85" should be more than enough. If I were to go bigger the front row would be too close.

Tonight, I plan to sand and primer the screen.

Peace Out~:D

    Ron,

How do you reduce reflectivity on the screens? Special Paint?

Yes sir. The paint is Lowe's Valspar Gray Plank Interior Flat (code: 101-21.5, 107-1, 116-1). It's a light gray. This time around I plan to start with a white and test using different filters (CC05m, ND...etc.) and see how that compares to my gray.
