The give Sid a decent camera fund raiser is officially launched!

I'm going to start taking donations for a new camera for Sid! I will amass whatever all you cheapskates will give me to buy Sid a new camera so we no longer have to suffer through the insufferableness (is that even a word?) of his photographic skills...or lack there of!

Once the total amount is collected, I will promptly head over to the camera store but stop at the bar first (a la Homer Simpson) and blow all the money on good scotch in hopes the my anerbriated state will clean up the atrocities that are Sid's pictures!

So who wants to be first?

    I actually like this idea. good work.

    I'll be the first to donate some $ to this fund.

    Do you take pay pal? or money order?

    When i was in high school, my parents bought be a new top of the line Canon 35mm camera. because of that camera.. it helped me to become the professional photographer that i am today. ;)

    Good lord......I can't believe that y'all are willing to put money into Sid for him to be entertained with.

    I'd say the money's better spent on a Chinese Finger Trap for him......Then think of all the peace WE could have...... :D

    Hey, gotta have priorities.

    Really, I don't know what my budget is. It is anywhere from $0 to $2,000 on everything - all depends on how this summer goes.

    Well, I know ALOT of my money is going towards the SDA rig, but I am going to be able to knock out the preamp and amp before summer. Alot of things are going my way so far. I am ordering up a SVS this weekend.

    If everything works out well, I should be able to turn right back around and buy the amp - then I think I can buy the preamp soon after. That would leave cables and speakers. Which would leave a good bit (if all things go well) to spend on a camera.

    my cell phone takes better pictures than what you've posted so far.

    and that only cost me $50 (w/ a two-year agreement with verizon, but i need a cell phone anyways)

    most people have cell phones these days. i remember reading 1.2 megapixel phones will be coming out later this year.
