From the school of thought that "Newer doesn't necessarily mean better"
I am offering for sale one of the best sounding dacs that I have heard. It has great dynamic and organic sound, which I believe are due to the analog output stage.

I have heard a few dacs (Wyred 4 Sound Dac 2, Lite audio Dac 60, PS audio Perfectwave Dac MK II, etc) IMO the adcom easily beats all of them except the PS Audio Perfectwave
for natural, organic, analog sonics.

The only drawback to this early edition dac is that it doesn't have a usb/computer connection. So to remedy that, I will add a Musical Fidelity V-Link adapter so that this Dac can connect to laptop/computer. This is a great combination and solution to computer audio.

Combo deal
I am asking $299 for both pieces + shipping and Paypal

Main Rig:
Antipodes DX > Roon > PS Audio Directstream Jr.>deHavilland Ultraverve 3 >Belles Reference 150a >Harbeth C7 ES3

Very nice. I've got a (modded) GDA-600 in my main rig and I want for nothing. (Except possibly a V-link  )

Someone can make themselves very happy with this DAC/combo.

I agree afrost, this combo is grossly underrated and sound-wise can hold it's own with a dac costing 2 time as much as the price here

Mine is the audio closet. The EE Minimax Plus took it's place. I hope to use it in a future rig. Probably keep this one, which I modded, for awhile. It still holds it's own.

Why are we looking to reduce a subjective experience to objective criteria anyway? The subtleties of music and audio reproduction are for those who appreciate it.
