Inconsiderate Members! > (venting)

Ever wonder why someone would even take the time to make a post on this message board .... Ask a question .... And then never come back to say "Thankyou" ... or ... "You guys are full of ****" ?

Not just this board, but any other board you may be a member of.

You would think that someone that actually took some of there valuable time to register as a member, and then compose a question on the forum would more than likely come back a day or 2 later to check the responses he got.

And while he was reading the responses, make some sort of a response himself ... if not just to say thanks!

    Maybe your right ... But if that's the case ... I ... for the life of me, can't figure out why they even spend the time to get on these message boards. You know, these boards are all about interaction between people. At least, that's kinda how I look at it.

    Anyway ... It's really not that big of a deal anyway. It's just one of the very little things in life that pisses me off.

    Used to irritate me, but never as much as when you give advice and then get arguments back as to why it's not right.

    Seems lately to be less and less of either. Certainly not enough to offset the number of times advice/guidance has been appreciated.

    I always go back and give thanks but there is another side here. A poster could think this board is here to ask a question and get an answer. Somewhat a product of polk. I think you should assume the person who asked the question is probably thankful.

    club Polk has over 20,000 members. how many of them actually post here? few it appears. maybe about .5%

    maybe those people who do ask questions.. do come back and check the responses.. but aren't interested in posting a simple thanks.

    I can be one of those guys who posts a question and then doesn't take the time to say thank you. So I apologize and say thanks to everyone for their help. I read the forum all of the time and have truly learned alot from the members. Even Sid answered a question the other day about a problem I had( but I was suprised he didn't scold me for not armor alling my speakers to keep the voice coil from breaking)
