PS Audio Dectect and PC3 power cables

Just picked up this little unit and getting 3 power cables..
Currently using a Belkin PF60 for power, my McCormack is plugged directly into wall..
Don't know what to expect but hope to notice a deeper background, and Greater Clarity and more ..

The Detect is a good unit I own them in conjunction with PS Audio AC power cords. The Detect excels when installed on a dedicated circuit.

I love my AC-3 cables... makes me wonder what the AC-5 is like...... then my wallet reminds me of my place in the world and I come back to reality.......

I also really wanted one of those Detect's but from a functionality perspective they just wouldn't work with any of my gear location wise. I need something that you can put in a rack and that aint it.. and the ones they have you CAN... well they cost Joey_V money hehe

All I have are the AC-3, don't think the AC-5 for the money would be a any better performer with my gear.

I'm looking forward to installing them into my gear..
I do not have Joey V money either so the Dectect is about all I can afford, and AC-3 power cables are about as much as I'm willing to spend on a power cable..

Yeah the only reason I'd think about it is the high draw potential of my B&K 200.5 (70 amps) and the high wattage it draws at 4 ohms (375 x 5)

Cool man, I have the model before that one and love it. Makes my system quiet as a church mouse and kills lots of noise in the signal giving it a black background. Enjoy it.

I'm using one and on a dedicated line as well. Really like it!!

great pickup! I'm betting you will hear a change right away and then forget about it.
Some day in the future things will start sounding really good. :)
I got their wall outlet too (what the hey)

Would love to hear some feedback on both, just starting to explore pc's. Won't mind paying a bit for quality products if I can hear a difference in my system.

The AC3 was my first "real" power cord, I have one going to my sunfire amp, and another to my Panamax conditioner. Great cables, nice quality, and despite their size, they bend!

That's a great setup. I didnt need as many outlets and found a basically new UPC200 that i love for it's size and capabilities.
The AC3 is also a great way to get your feet wet with power cords. As my setup will most likely never reach the magnitude of many here, the AC3 will be my end game for PCs.

PS Audio makes really nice shtuff.

Well it's installed and replaced my Belkin unit, the Belkin also had 2 Hi Current outlets, since switching to the PS Dectect I can comfortably say the Belkin is not even in the same league..
First thing I noticed was more Bass and more definition around instruments..
Bass is a little muddy though, but more of it, we will see after listening for a few days if it settles down..
Overall it's a Big improvement even with the bass bloom.
I can go louder on the dial with anything breaking up not that I had an issue before but it just seems easier now..
I have two more AC-3's on the way to replace cords on my Bryston units.. :)

I am enjoying and got a surprise in the mail when I got home from work this morning..
2 more AC3 Power cables and my long awaited Inception Score on clear vinyl..
I was looking for one of these before and the only place to have it was Discogs and the A$$ was charging almost $600 for it..
So I'm glad they rereleased another run so I got it for the regular price..
