APC BR1500 backup w AVR connected?

Looking at a APC BR1500 battery backup for my loft to keep my desktop and HTPC kicking in case of a quick power blip.

I'm curious though if it would let me hook a AVR to it and not blow it. I don't plan to use the battery part for the AVR, just want it surge protected. The only thing on the battery would be the Computer, HTPC, and external hard drive. The TV, Roku, AVR, and Metgear switch would be on surge protection only....

Thoughts on if the BR1500 could handle a 5 channel 100 wpc AVR for power draw or not?

Did you have it plugged into the surge only or battery backup slots, or did it matter
