Oh yeah! Any SDA speaker is good. If you do try to get them make sure they have the interconnect cable that runs between the left and right speakers.

If they are in good repair they are. BUT-The seller has no feedback, no description... I would pester him to death asking for questions, pictures, condition of the cabinets, manuals, cable, ask if you can pick up locally (even if you can not)...

Even then it would be a risk, but at least an educated one. Also, insure that all of your compnents can handle the speakers. (Rated for 4Ohm, common ground amp, 100W/channel all driven, etc...)

I noticed that the seller put a reserve price on the speakers. The current price/bid is $50 CDN, What is the going rate of these speakers (assuming they are in good condition)

Depending on condition and what he has with them, anywhere from $350-$650 US from what I have seen

I'm thinking $300 to $400 US would be about right.

I had a feeling that the going rate was high.

Yeah, but he might make a deal with you since you'd be shipping in country.

The pictures look good, and that's a great price....if you are local, I would definetly be all over that auction. He will probably be very happy to have someone local, it's so much easier.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.
