NAD 925 to power SDA2bs any thoughts any comments.

I have a chance to get nice NAD 925 THX amp and wonder if it would be a good buy for powering my 2bs it is rated at 120 w per channel but is a 5 channel amp and can be bridged. One thing I don't know is if it is common ground, Thanks for your help.

I can't answer the common ground question, but 120 wpc should be fine unless you want to blow out the windows. Are you just looking for something different? Many good deals popping up on all of the auction and sales sites for 2 channel amps though. You using these in an HT setup?

You could always contact NAD and ask. Most of the time when someone encounters non common grounded amplifiers, they are mono block, dual mono, multichannel and some esoteric designs.
  • I would like to add an amp to my avr that can take some of the load off as my 2bs need a little more power after the mods. This NAD 925 is only 250 bucks, seems like a good price and local as well.
