Ear Care

I have spent the past three weeks with a head full of congestion- hearing mostly my own breathing and voice. Certainly no fun listening to any music. As we age, it won't matter how much cash we shell out for excellent equipment if our hearing diminishes. I have been trying to take care of the ears for a while now- using ear protection for mowing and concerts. I used to call these guys "wimps". After all, I was the only one of my friends who didn't cover his ears when Ted Nugent let out that scream at the end of Motor City Madhouse back in 1977.

I read a very interesting article yesterday about an audiophile who used to review expensive stuff. but now wears a hearing aid.
