Is there a site i can see & maybe purchase a decent trigger wire/cord for my Yamaha rvx-2600 trigger out to a Parasound amplifier ? I have this wire/cord (found in my cord bucket) & not sure its good enough. Thanks in advance.

Try it to see if they fit. Most likely sizes to work are 3.5 mm or 2.5mm or a cord with a combo of both. I believe the Parasound amp is 2.5 mm, I know my Halo A23 is and my P5 is 3.5mm.The best way to predict the future is to invent it.

Im afraid i will see smoke come bellowing out LOL... I will give it a try asap. Thanks..

it is only a 12v trigger won't smoke anything. That looks like 3.5mm pins both ends. Or, just use the on/off switches......lol.The best way to predict the future is to invent it.

The Parasound as I thought is 2.5mm. You can get a combo. The best way to predict the future is to invent it.

Where do i get those. Can i get it on the bay ? If you happen to see a site/ad could you post it. I was gonna order one BUT was afraid id end up buying the wrong one.... So does that mean the Yamaha is 3.5 & Psd is 2.5 ? I couldnt find the size listed in the Yamaha & the cord fits perfect. The Psd is very small & manual states 2.5.. I wasnt sure the specs of the cable i have..

Randy, if I remember correctly, it's a mono cable we use for triggers? Looks like Mike's got it working with a stereo cable. I didn't know you could do this. I think I remember back when I was looking for them, from feedback on the board, I went with the mono ones from Monoprice, just like Ken recommends.
I didn't know you could get a combo cable. Pretty neat. I'm also in this situation for a preamp/amp combo, and skirted it for now by using the triggered outlets on the power management center I'm using. Just another option if whatever you're using offers that, as well.
As I'm writing this, I went looking for these on Monoprice to send you a link and couldn't find them; weird, thought for sure that's where I got them, but then went to my cable stash tub, and it looks like I actually got them from MCM Electronics.
Even though you've got it sorted, I'll throw this info up well for sources for mono DC trigger cables in case anyone else needs anything like this.
This is the model/part number I used, the 24-810.
This is a 3.5mm mono cable - http://www.mcmelectronics.com/product/24-810
Here's a link to a search on MCM for 3.5mm to 2.5mm mono adapters - http://bit.ly/1MXitbX
Could go the other way with it and get a 2.5mm mono cable, and use a 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter plug - http://bit.ly/1MXiUDd
I think your 3.5mm to 2.5mm cable is probably the better option, since there might not be much clearance back behind equipment to add an adapter?Post edited by msg onI disabled signatures.
