How to get closed captioning on vudu

I have searched intenet, only real info was from several years ago saying at the bottom of screen where Quotation marks around English playback are found, to click there and it can be selected.
of course it is not there on my lg bluray.
the vudu website is one of the least informative I have ever seen although I like the experience of ordering and watching movies with them and the HDX feature is not just 1080 p, it actually does other things with very nice results as to picture.
I am desperately trying to watch the revenant and bridge of spies, but as with many pics I simply cannot make out much of the dialogue.
Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp

I would think that once you start streaming it should be under one of the menu options found thru a main menu button on remote? What model LG blu ray player are you using and I will look into it for you and try to find the steps required to turn cc on.
