Nice Neoclassic Design Attempt, Give'em An "A" For Effort

I just saw this and thought that it was a nice effort to bring back a long gone piece of furniture that would look great in those loft developments in any urban area. Decent choice of components too. My only wish would be for SDA CRS+ instead of those whizzer cones used.shop.symbolaudio.com/pages/modern-record-console

We have one of these in the lobby of our new hotel in Austin, TX - I was admiring it while I was there. It's a really nice looking piece in person, well equipped, nothing I would personally buy, but it is well executed.

Damned expensive though when I talked to the GM - esp for what it is.

Nothin 'wrong with whizzers per se... and, yes, that thing is cute, but the price tag's a little ridiculous considering the components therein.

The ulitmate ever hifi console, though, only had speakers in it -- no electronics.
They're a bit pricey on the used market, though.

That unit at the top of the page is nice, has that Mid Century Modern feel to it. The one right above is orgasmic, would love to have that.
The best way to predict the future is to invent it.

If those are 6.5 drivers, look for a pair of KEF Q10 drivers.
They have concentric silk dome tweeters.

I think that these two observations are pretty much synonymous ;- )
