Does anyone know if the TSx 550Ts have active or passive crossovers?

I'd like to bi-wire / bi-amp these speakers and if they have passive crossovers, it would be a waste of time.

An active crossover is an electronic crossover, which is usually an outboard unit that is inserted into the signal path. A passive crossover is what you find in most loudspeakers.

Unfortunately, the passive crossovers only use impedance or resistance to control signal resulting in extra heat and loss of signal. I was thinking of bi wiring the TSx 550s, but with the passive crossovers, this would be a waste of energy and resources.

    Thanks for your guidance.

In general, 99% of home speakers are passive crossovers. If they're active you'll usually have an external box prior to amplification.
