Clearaudio Bluemotion Turn table in Route

Well im pretty excited to say the least. I would like to thanks Luther (Wardsweb) for giving me the heads up about it and picking it up from the seller and shipping it for him. I tip my hat off to him a nice jester from him, and I can't thank him enough. I can't wait to get off work to get it going.I hope the UPS gods were kind to me and handled it with care. It was well packed double boxed. I'm just patiently waiting. I will post a few pics once it is set up.

It arrived talk about a professional packing job it was like the main box is suspended in the outer box being held by foam all the way around, looking forward to a decent Friday night.

I have a CA Emotion that's been with my me for about 10 years now and I'm still pleased with it.

Went out Friday night recouped yesterday got it set up this morning broke it in with some Clutch and Megadeth. I'm loving it love the Grado Gold cartridge it is as described excels in the bass and midrange department and tames the highs loving it all right now. My first manual belt drive it's going to take some time getting used to it compared to both my direct drive auto Technics and Pioneer Table that my Grandson now proudly owns.

What is going to take some getting use to is turning it on and off each time you want to flip a record over or change an album little worried I will wear the power switch out as I plan on listening to albums for quite some time. I now need to get a acrylic cover for it a rcm machine and this 2 channel rig is updated and done for a while, time to sit back and enjoy the fruit of my labors.

It is a Satisfy arm what a difference compared to the quality of the tonearm on my other tables.

It's a Emotion only a bluemotion so I guess it ranks between the Concept and the Emotion SE.

Congratulations! I'm glad it all worked out and that the shipping fairies watched over it in transit. I always over pack because damage in shipping is bad for everyone involved.

Did the reassembly and setup go smoothly?

When you say Grado excels at midrange is the midrange recessed, neutral, or forward? How does it track? Any issues with IGD? What cartridges were you previously using?

Here's what I did for my CA Emotion. It's an acrylic cover from an old Pioneer PL41. I made a separate base for it and it fits the CA under it nicely. I also removed the backside of where the motor sits as the space is so small it was tough to get the motor not to touch on one side of it. Another option and one that I used to use was to use a line switch to turn the motor on and off.
I'm glad to hear you're enjoying your new toy. I've been pleased with mine for several years now.

That is awesome you did a heck of a job are those Xmas lights underneath. I'm heading to Menards and see if I can get some 1/8 acrylic cut to size and make my own.

Night shot I will be getting some Led lights also using a battery powered head lamp at the moment the lights sure set the mood.

Now all you need is some flames painted on it and a two stage nitrous kit then it will truly be a hotrodded deck! Can't wait to see and hear it.

The light is a blue led rope light that I coiled up under the middle of the table. For some reason I can't get a shot of what it actually looks like with the flash of the cell phone. It does not look like that in real life as the translucent plinth appears to be an entirely glowing blue.
Good luck to you on making the dust cover. Make sure and post some pics.

When I had a Pro-Ject Perspex table it was clear, I used multicoloured led strip.
